As a listed building from the early 1960s, the municipal theater in Mönchengladbach had numerous reserves of land. As part of the upcoming refurbishment, part of the façade was renovated and, taking advantage of the slope, a gallery was built into the newly acquired ground floor connecting the rear parking area with the pedestrian zone.
